AE Battlebots
Its a new year for the Olathe Northwest Battlebots program, and the new teams are already in full swing preparing for the year of design, review and construction of there Battlebots. After three successful years for Olathe Northwest the students and teacher, Becky Metcalf and Keith Manbeck are eager to create fighting machines capable of taking the Gold at the BBIQ competition in Miami, Fl later this year. The teams have already become certified to use all of Olathe Northwest's tools, and have begun to have meetings regarding the design and team ideas for the year. The teams have started their battlebots websites. They are available at these links, Hour 2 Raven Rampage and Hour 6 Employee of the Month. You can also see an animation on youtube by clicking here. As teams make a final decision on there design, or make steps towards the decision you may see new posts on the websites. Keep posted to this site as well as the teams websites for new information !
