AE Senior Project

This year the Senior Project course will be taught by Drew Keiter and Matt Peterie. There are two teams this year. The first is Team Shockwave which will explore the dynamics of rocketry. They will test different nose cones, body tubes, fins and aerodynamics with the new 3-D printer and the wind tunnel. They will be in the Team American Rocketry Challenge outside of Washigton DC and the Large Dangerous Rocket Ships competition in Argonia, Kansas. The second team is Team Fusion, which is working on building an electric car. The electric car is designed, and fabricated for pure efficiency. The team hopes to participates in the Electrathon Race, which the students race their car to see who can get the greatest distance in one hour.
