Day 10: Field Work Introduction

Today I went out with one of the Field Inspectors Lonnie Ponder. We went first to check out a problem with a manhole and service line in a new development. After figuring out a solution to the problem we headed toward another new development area to witness a plug removal. It was a very quick and easy process, but an inspector has to be on sight to make sure its done right. After the plug removal we went to see what a main line project looks like. It was very interesting to see how the large lines and manholes come together. Overall it was a very educational day.
